iPhone Air is finally here and Apple is promising all-day battery life, pro-grade performance and a premium price tag.
iPhone Air has been unveiled and we know its India price
Apple’s new iPhone Air is here and the company seems quite excited about making a sleek device which is going to test the intense battery claims. Samsung did the honours earlier this year with the Galaxy S25 Edge and since then people have been waiting to see Apple’s own sleek version, which ditches the 17 moniker and goes for the clean iPhone Air branding.
Yes, the biggest highlight of this iPhone variant is the design, its dimensions and how much battery Apple can accommodate to make it sleek. It does replace the bigger Plus variant but goes for a different approach and eyeing people who value style over substance in some ways.
Apple iPhone Air Price In India
The iPhone Air price in India starts from Rs 1,19,900 which is quite higher than what you would pay for the iPhone Plus model. The 512GB iPhone Air costs Rs 1,39,900 while the 1TB option comes at an even higher Rs 1,59,900. You have four colour options, and the device will go on sale from September 19 in the country.
iPhone Air Design, Features And Battery
Apple claims the iPhone Air is impossibly thin and light at 5.6mm and 165 grams. It sports a 6.5-inch Super Retina display with ProMotion tech on offer. It is powered by the A19 Pro chipset which puts it into the premium segment along with the iPhone 17 Pros.
The visuals of the iPhone Air during the event showed its sleekness from all possible angles and you can satiate at the build quality (or production tricks) of the brand.
Just because it is sleek doesn’t mean Apple is compromising on its durability. It gets a titanium frame which makes it strong, and the ceramic shield keeps the back of the iPhone Air safe from cracking.
Making an iPhone this thin means Apple had to give up on the traditional SIM slot, so the Air will be selling in eSIM-only versions across all markets. It has a single 48MP fusion camera at the back with OIS and an 18MP shooter on the front. Apple did not share the battery figures but it has made tall claims about the iPhone Air lasting all day.
