Aryan Khan’s The Ba***ds Of Bollywood trailer out.
The Ba***ds Of Bollywood Trailer: Aryan Khan makes his directorial debut with the Netflix show, and fans finally have a longer glimpse of what’s in store for them on September 18. After the star-studded first look launch in August, Aryan has finally presented the trailer of his debut show to his fans and has delivered what he has promised – an extra dose of drama and entertainment, quite like Bollywood itself.
On the day Shah Rukh Khan hosted an ‘Ask SRK’ session on X (formerly Twitter), he confirmed that he is “haq se” a part of his son’s series. We finally have a glimpse of the same now. At its core, the series charts the journey of Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya), an ambitious outsider chasing dreams as towering as the silver screen itself. Backed by his steadfast best friend Parvaiz (Raghav Juyal), quick-witted manager Sanya (Anya Singh), and a loving family — uncle Avtar (Manoj Pahwa), mother Neeta Singh (Mona Singh), and father Rajat Singh (Vijayant Kohli) — Aasmaan takes his first steps into the dazzling yet ruthless world of Bollywood.
But he soon learns that stardom comes at a cost, where ambition often clashes with ego. His biggest trial arrives when he crosses paths with reigning superstar Ajay Talvar (Bobby Deol), after being cast opposite Ajay’s daughter and debutante Karishma (Sahher Bambba). Add to this the manipulative producer Freddy Sodawallah (Manish Chaudhari) and Jaraj Saxena (Rajat Bedi), a faded star desperate for a comeback, and the stage is set for a biting, self-aware tale woven into the irresistible spectacle of Hindi cinema.
For die-hard Bollywood buffs, The Ba**ds of Bollywood* promises the ultimate dream: a once-in-a-lifetime cameo coup with all three Khans appearing together on screen. Alongside, a glittering parade of names — Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, SS Rajamouli, Badshah, Disha Patani, and more. Watch the trailer of The Ba***ds Of Bollywood here:
Earlier today, Netflix India’s X handle teased fans ahead of The Ba***ds Of Bollywood trailer release. In all caps, they wrote, “OKAY BUT I JUST SAW THE TRAILER FOR THE BADS OF BOLLYWOOD AND OMGGGGG YOU GUYS ARE SOOOO NOT READY FOR THISSSSS #TheBadsOfBollywoodOnNetflix (sic).” A new poster of the series was also unveiled.
Aryan Khan’s viral ‘papa hain na’ speech
Speaking at the preview launch of The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, Aryan Khan said, “Bohot nervous hu kyunki pehli baar main aap sabke saamne stage par aaya hu. Aur isliye do din aur teen raaton se main ye speech baar baar lagataar practice kiye jaa raha hu. In fact, main itna nervous hu ki maine teleprompter pe bhi likha diya hai. Just in case yaha ki bijli chale jaaye, main kaagaz ke tukde pe bhi likhke laaya hu. Torch ke saath. Aur agar tab bhi mujhse mistake ho jaaye, to Papa hain na! (I’m very nervous because this is the first time I’m standing on stage in front of all of you. That’s why I’ve been practicing this speech over and over again for the last two days and three nights. In fact, I’m so nervous that I’ve even put it on the teleprompter—just in case the electricity goes out here, I’ve also brought it written on a piece of paper. With a torch. And if even after all that I still make a mistake… well, my dad’s here, right?).”
He then sincerely added, “Aur agar iss sab ke baad bhi mujhse galti ho jaaye, mujhe please maaf kardena. Ye mera first time hai. (And if after all this I still mess up, please forgive me. This is my first time).”
In his speech, he further added, “We’ve tried to bring a lot of entertainment to a lot of people in a lot of places. After four years of hard work, countless discussions, and thousands of takes, this show is finally ready. And I want to thank the people without whom making this show would have been impossible.”
Aryan Khan leads the project as creator and director, working alongside co-creators Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, who have also contributed to the writing of The Ba***ds of Bollywood.
