Bollywood’s action star Tiger Shroff is riding high on the release of Baaghi 4, which hit theatres on September 5, clashing with Vivek Agnihotri’s The Bengal Files. On Sunday, September 7, the 35-year-old actor gave fans an unforgettable moment when he visited the iconic Gaiety Galaxy cinema in Bandra, Mumbai. Tiger surprised audiences by holding up the “houseful” board, smiling widely as the crowd erupted in cheers.
Tiger Shroff Goes Shirtless for Fans
The highlight of the visit came when Tiger took off his green ribbed sleeveless T-shirt, flaunting his perfectly chiseled six-pack abs. The viral video from the event captures the superstar tossing his T-shirt into a crowd of ecstatic fans, who screamed and stretched to catch the unexpected gift. The gesture reaffirmed his reputation as Bollywood’s most adored action hero with unmatched fan connect.
Baaghi 4 Box Office Collection
Despite stiff competition, Baaghi 4 has managed a strong opening. The film earned ₹17.15 crore worldwide on its first day. Day two saw domestic collections dip to ₹9 crore, taking the Indian gross to ₹25.25 crore. With an additional ₹3.25 crore from overseas markets, the total worldwide box office now stands at ₹28.50 crore, according to Sacnilk.
While the drop in numbers is evident, Tiger’s star power continues to keep the spotlight firmly on the film.
Star Cast and Story
Baaghi 4 brings together a stellar cast alongside Tiger Shroff, including Sanjay Dutt, Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva, Upendra Limaye, and Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir. Touted as the most violent film in the franchise, the action-thriller sees Tiger in a high-octane face-off with Sanjay Dutt against the backdrop of a turbulent love story.
CBFC Cuts
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) cleared Baaghi 4 with an A certificate after asking the makers to tone down several violent and sensitive scenes. A total of 23 visual and audio cuts were ordered, including graphic sequences of throats being slit, hands chopped, and sword fights, as well as shots featuring a statue of Jesus Christ.
Dialogues with words like bhang, condom, and abusive terms were muted or replaced. An 11-second scene of excessive violence was also removed. For instance, the line “Bhai tujhe condom mein hi rehna chahiye tha” had the word condom muted, while “Tera wajood hi mit jaayega God” was altered to “Sab dekhte reh jayenge.”
The Baaghi Legacy
Marking the fourth instalment of the blockbuster franchise, Baaghi 4 follows in the footsteps of the 2016 original starring Shraddha Kapoor, Baaghi 2 with Disha Patani, and Baaghi 3, which reunited Tiger with Shraddha. The series has consistently delivered high-voltage action and larger-than-life stunts, cementing Tiger Shroff as one of Bollywood’s most bankable action stars.
