Madharasi Movie Review And Rating: Madharasi, helmed by AR Murugadoss, has hit the silver screen today, September 5. Starring Sivakarthikeyan in a gritty and intense avatar, the highly anticipated action thriller has drawn movie buffs to their nearest theatres to watch the first-day first show. Shortly after its release, social media platform X (formerly Twitter) became a hub of audience reactions.
While some viewers have labelled the Sivakarthikeyan starrer as an ‘average watch’, citing some old-fashioned ideas and stretches, others have called it engaging and entertaining. A section of the audience has enthusiastically declared Madharasi a blockbuster film, particularly appreciating the mix of love and action sequences in the first half. Sivakarthikeyan’s dance moves also got immense praise online.

Madharasi’s Storyline And Cast
The film revolves around an unyielding police officer who is on the search for illicit firearms that an aggressive gun-smuggling group is bringing into Tamil Nadu. But during his quest, an innocent man gets caught as his lover is used as a pawn in the syndicate’s scheme, unwittingly entangling him in the criminal underbelly. What follows next is how the man gets caught in a vicious conflict with himself as the law closes in and the syndicate’s influence increases.
Produced by Sri Lakshmi Movies, the action thriller also brings together a star-studded, power-packed cast including Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Vikranth Santhosh, Monisha Vijay, Prem Kumar, Thalaivasal Vijay, Rishi Rithvik and Shabeer Kallarakkal.
The editing work has been done by Sreekar Prasad and Kevin and Dhilip Masters handled the action choreography. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the beats in the film.
