The actor was recently spotted as a background extra in Param Sundari, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor. Her brief, non-speaking appearance left fans stunned, with many questioning why an actress of her popularity would accept such a role.
Fans React to Priya’s Background Appearance
In a video circulating across Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and Reddit, Priya can be seen quietly walking in the background of a scene. Dressed in a red-and-white saree, she appears behind Sidharth Malhotra as part of a crowd sequence. While a blink-and-miss moment, eagle-eyed fans quickly picked up on it.
Reactions ranged from disbelief to disappointment. One user wrote, “I thought only I noticed, but I’m glad someone did. She deserves better.” Another questioned, “From viral sensation to background? What happened to her career?” A section of fans argued that Priya would have been better suited for the lead, with one saying, “She should’ve played Janhvi Kapoor’s role instead.”
