Kaanta Laga star Shefali Jariwala’s sudden death on June 27, 2025, sent shockwaves across the nation. Now, months after her demise, her husband Parag Tyagi has turned her dream into his life’s purpose. He took to his social media to announce the launch of Shefali Jariwala Rise Foundation- an NGO that will focus on providing education to underprivileged kids, and empowering women. He said that it was Shefali’s dream, and it’s his life’s purpose now to keep her dream alive.
In his Instagram post, Parag Tyagi wrote that the revenue that will come from Shefali Jariwala’s YouTube channel will be used for her NGO. “Coming very soon with Pari’s channel on YouTube. My Instagram and YouTube is dedicated to her and for her foundation #shefalijariwalarisefoundation . Any promotion and monetary coming from these are going to my Pari’s foundation. We r so overwhelmed with all ur love and blessings. Just keep loving us so we can fulfill her dream together.Love u all from us me pari and simba Thank you @harshthefilmmaker for such a beautiful video,” he wrote.
In the video, Parag Tyagi announces the launch of Shefali Jariwala Rise Foundation, explaining that it was the late actress’ dream. “This is my Pari’s journal. In it, she had written all her dreams and wishes. Among those dreams, the dearest one was to start an NGO, one that would aim to provide education to underprivileged children and empower women. In her memory, we have to keep this dream alive. Because now, her dream has become the purpose of my life,” he said. He also expressed how much he loves and misses Shefali Jariwala.
Shefali Jariwala’s Death
Shefali Jariwala passed away at the age of 42. Preliminary reports suggest that Shefali suffered a sudden cardiac arrest late Friday night, sometime between June 27 and 28. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai by Parag and three others. Tragically, doctors declared her brought dead on arrival. Her mortal remains were sent to Cooper Hospital for post mortem. Her prayer meet was held in Mumbai on July 2.
