Anurag Kashyap’s Upcoming Film Nishaanchi Trailer Release Date Out
Anurag Kashyap has been grabbing attention for his next film Nishaanchi, and the excitement just got a notch higher with news coming in that the trailer release date is out. The much-anticipated trailer is scheduled to drop on September 3. Filmfare has exclusively reported the news. However, an official confirmation is still awaited.
Filmfare has quoted a source saying, “The trailer of Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming film Nishaanchi will be unveiled on September 3. Starring Aaishvary Thackeray and Vedika Pinto, the film is touted to be a pure masala entertainer that will surprise audiences coming from Kashyap.”
Nishaanchi Album Out:
The album brings together some of the finest names in contemporary Indian music. Composers Anurag Saikia, Manan Bhardwaj, Dhruv Ghanekar, Aaishvary Thackeray, and Nishikar Chhibber have joined forces with celebrated lyricists including Pyarelal Yadav, Shashwat Dwivedi, Manan Bhardwaj, Varun Grover, Dr. Sagar, Aaishvary Thackeray, and Renu Chhibber.
Adding magic to the compositions are stellar voices such as Arijit Singh, Madhubanti Bagchi, Manan Bhardwaj, Prajakta Shukre, Himani Kapoor, Bhupesh Singh, Rahul Yadav, Vijay Lal Yadav, Shreya Sundararaman, Sukanya Das, Devender Kumar, Vandana Sinha, Kalpana Patowary, Alaaya Ghanekar, and Amaala Ghanekar. Even debutant Aaishvary Thackeray lends his vocals, further rooting the soundtrack in the film’s youthful energy.

Directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh under Jar Pictures, in association with Flip Films, Nishaanchi is more than a film — it’s a cinematic rollercoaster packed with action, humour, drama, and music that drives the narrative.
The film marks the acting debut of Aaishvary Thackeray, who will be seen in a high-octane double role. He stars alongside Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kumud Mishra, with the script penned by Prasoon Mishra, Ranjan Chandel, and Anurag Kashyap.

Anurag Kashyap REVEALS Why Nishaanchi Is His Most Ambitious Film
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Kashyap described the film as his homage to Hindi cinema’s classic action dramas. “Nishaanchi is my full-on Salim–Javed zone of film; it has the hero, the drama, and the payoff a film must deliver. I spent 69 days on it, and it’s my longest and most elaborate shoot yet,” he said, referencing the legendary writer duo behind Zanjeer, Deewar, and Sholay.
Kashyap’s career has been anything but predictable. From the breakthrough Black Friday and the cult hit Dev.D, to the sprawling Gangs of Wasseypur and the recent noir-thriller Kennedy, the director has consistently toggled between genres and styles. Even as he dabbles in acting—recently appearing in Tamil hits like Maharaja and Viduthalai Part 2—his return to the director’s chair with Nishaanchi signals an ambitious new chapter.
