Salman Khan and his family celebrated Ganpati visarjan with dhols, dance, and devotion.
Ganesh Chaturthi at the Khan household is always a grand affair, and this year was no different. Superstar Salman Khan, along with his entire family, bid farewell to Lord Ganesha with immense devotion, music, and unfiltered joy. The actor shared a video on Instagram capturing the visarjan celebrations, where Marathi dhols and cymbals set the rhythm, and every member of the Khan khandaan joined in with full enthusiasm.
The clip shows each family member taking turns to lift Bappa before the immersion, while the atmosphere reverberated with chants and beats. From Alvira’s daughter Alizeh and Arbaaz Khan’s son Arhaan to Arpita Khan Sharma’s children Ahil and Ayat, everyone was seen celebrating with happy faces. Salman himself was spotted dancing with unmatched energy, making the farewell a memory of faith and festivity.
A Star-Studded Family Gathering
This year’s Ganpati celebrations were hosted at Arpita Khan Sharma’s residence, which was beautifully decorated for the occasion. The festivities began with Salim Khan and Salma Khan performing the aarti, followed by Salman—dressed in a black shirt and beige trousers—leading the rituals.
The celebration soon turned into a lively family gathering with Arbaaz, Sohail, Alvira, Atul Agnihotri, and other close relatives joining in. Salman’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and actor Zaheer Iqbal added to the cheer, while family friends Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza arrived with their children, turning the evening into a festival of togetherness.
In one of the viral moments, Salman was seen dancing alongside his sister Arpita and close friend Sonakshi Sinha, their carefree energy drawing smiles from fans across social media. The video ended with a beautiful close-up of the eco-friendly “green Ganpati” idol that had already won fans’ praise during its stay, glowing brighter than ever during the farewell.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Ganpati Visarjan
Salman wasn’t the only star bidding farewell to Bappa on the day. Actor Ranbir Kapoor, accompanied by his mother Neetu Kapoor, was also spotted during visarjan rituals. The duo immersed their Ganpati idol with love and devotion, promising to welcome him back next year.
Salman Khan’s Professional Front
On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in AR Murugadoss’ action drama Sikandar, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna. Up next, he will be seen in Battle of Galwan, where he steps into the shoes of an Indian Army soldier in a story inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clashes.
Meanwhile, the superstar continues to charm television audiences as the host of Bigg Boss 19, which this year carries the theme Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar, keeping Salman deeply connected to fans across households.
From star power to family bonding, Salman Khan’s Ganpati visarjan this year proved once again that no matter how big the stage, some celebrations are best enjoyed with faith, rhythm, and loved ones.
