Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh shared a cryptic note on “suffering” amid backlash for allegedly touching co-star Anjali Raghav inappropriately and facing shocking allegations from wife Jyoti Singh.
Bhojpuri actor-singer Pawan Singh has once again landed in controversy, with multiple storm clouds now surrounding his personal and professional life. The actor, already facing public backlash over a viral video, took to Instagram to share a cryptic note that has only added to the ongoing drama.
The video in question shows Singh allegedly touching his co-star Anjali Raghav inappropriately during a promotional event in Lucknow for their latest song Saiyan Seva Kare. The clip sparked outrage across social media, with many calling out the actor’s behaviour.
Pawan Singh’s Cryptic Post
Amid mounting criticism, Singh posted a picture of himself praying with folded hands. Alongside, he wrote in Hindi, “एक कहावत है— जिस तन लागे सो तन जाने, कोई न जाने पीर पराई।”(“There’s a saying—only the one who suffers knows the pain; no one else can truly understand another’s suffering.”)
While some fans came out in his support, others slammed him for “playing the victim” after repeated controversies.
Anjali Raghav Quits Bhojpuri Industry
Just days after the video went viral, Anjali Raghav—a popular face in Haryanvi music videos—issued a strong statement. She condemned Singh’s behaviour and announced her decision to permanently quit the Bhojpuri film industry.
Opening up about the ordeal, Anjali revealed she was under immense stress since the clip surfaced. “I’ve been receiving endless messages asking why I didn’t take action on stage or slap him. People don’t understand the situation you are in at that moment. I was deeply uncomfortable, and this experience has left me shaken,” she shared.
Jyoti Singh’s Disturbing Allegations
If that wasn’t enough, Singh’s personal life came under the scanner after his second wife Jyoti Singh posted a shocking note on Instagram.
Sharing a picture with the actor, Jyoti alleged that Singh had been neglecting her for months. She claimed he ignored her calls and messages despite repeated attempts to reach him regarding personal and political matters.
What alarmed fans most was Jyoti’s disturbing confession. In her emotional note, she wrote that Singh’s indifference had pushed her to the brink, leaving her with thoughts of “nothing but self-immolation.”
With Anjali’s exit, Jyoti’s allegations, and Pawan Singh’s cryptic social media posts, the controversy shows no signs of slowing down. For now, the Bhojpuri superstar finds himself battling not just industry backlash but also growing public scrutiny of his private life.
