Sakshi Shivdasani claimed she was mistreated on MTV’s show and that Anusha Dandekar bullied her.

Anusha Dandekar and Sakshi Shivdasani’s feud has caught momentum after the actress responded to the influencer’s claims. Anusha maintains that Sakshi has been lying about being mistreated on the show. Meanwhile, Sakshi holds her ground and claims that she has shared her experience with honesty. But what is this feud about?
In 2019, Sakshi Shivadasani, then 20, participated in MTV Supermodel of the Year. She was eliminated from the show, and during her stint, her casual and calm persona made her stand out in the crowd. Years later, Sakshi opened up about her experience on the show and claimed that the producers and some judges had been rude towards her and the other contestants.
More recently, Sakshi opened up about the illtreatment on her podcast, Moment of Silence. Sakshi said that the contestants were only allowed to sleep for four hours, and their food was portioned. She recalled how her words were twisted against her and how the judges hurled insults at the contestants.
Sakshi Claims Anusha Bullied Her On MTV Show
The judges on the show were Milind Soman, Malaika Arora, Ujjwala Raut, Anusha Dandekar and Masaba Gupta. Sakshi noted that her main grouse was with Anusha and Milind. She said that while Ujjwala and Masaba were occasionally rude, Malaika spoke to them properly. Sakshi said that there was a “power dynamic” which was made evident.
Sakshi said, hinting at Anusha, “Women who were 10-15 years older than me coming and saying these things, I thought it was just bully behaviour… A certain host would come up to me off camera and make snide comments about my life…”
She noted how there was no regard for the contestants’ safety on set and said, “There was this task where we had to jump from one container to another. Again, you’re harnessed, but some guy is manually controlling it. I don’t trust people with my life like that. Anusha, without getting a go-ahead, was like, ‘Jump off.’ No one was holding it… she never coordinated with anyone.”
Sakshi Calls Show ‘Predatory’, Recalls Chemistry Shoot With Milind Soman
Sakshi called the show “predatory and creepy” while talking about how her ass was the central focus for one of the shoots. She also recalled shooting a task with Milind Soman and Ujjwala Raut, which was supposed to be intimate. She said that Milind and Ujjwala were “groping each other” and the contestants were supposed to join the shoot and show their chemistry.
“Anusha didn’t like my outfit. They made me change last minute, and it was completely backless. I wasn’t comfortable with my outfit… Everyone was like, ‘Oh, why is she not comfortable?’ I’m not a physical touch person. I’m not going to get in the middle of Milind Soman and Ujjwala Raut… That’s not how things happen on a real set. That’s an HR violation,” Sakshi noted.
Sakshi Said A Puppy Nearly Died During A Shoot
The influencer also spoke about tasks where young puppies were abused to the point that one of them nearly lost its life. In another task, girls were forced to open up about their deepest insecurities in the name of content. During this task, the judges dismissed some of the girls, which was a huge blow to them. Sakshi mentioned that the girls could not leave the show despite the torture, as they would have to pay Rs 3 crore.
Producer Threatened To Slap Me: Sakshi
Sakshi mentioned that a producer even threatened to slap her to get any emotion out of her. She said, “She was like, ‘Are you going to give me any TRPs and emotions, or do I have to slap it out of you?'” She recalled how the girls were not given any privacy and all their emotions were exploited.
She also mentioned that she frequently runs into Anusha now, who stops to adore her dog, Sushi. But, when Sakshi realises that the person is Anusha, she continues to walk away. Sakshi’s detailed account of the illtreatment on the show went viral, especially her remarks about Anusha Dandekar.
Anusha Says Sakshi Is Lying
The actress recently reacted to these claims in a chat with Humans of Bombay. “Firstly, when I heard it, I was like, ‘Wow, people can just lie. They can just use that? Okay, I’m gonna sit tight. I’m gonna sit quiet. I’m gonna let her say what she wants to say.’ She knows the truth and I know the truth, and that’s enough,” Anusha said.
She added, “Then she said it again. Come on, now. She’s seen me in public. She smiles, and I smile back. Wow, so you wanna say that on camera, but you wanna smile at me when you see me? I found it strange. You’ve got to know you’re not being honest.”
Anusha: Sakshi Had No Motivation To Be A Model
Anusha said that it was evident that Sakshi had no motivation to be on the show. “I didn’t treat her differently. I don’t know what she was saying… Everything I did was on camera. I was told to go up to her specifically and tell her because she was not being enthusiastic… It’s my job to go and tell her,” Anusha said and even refuted the claim that she never performed any of the tasks herself.
Anusha said that Sakshi might have said what she felt in the moment, but deep down, she knows she didn’t give her 100 per cent in the show. Anusha reiterated that Sakshi has been lying about her experience on the show. Sakshi clapped back by sharing her chats from 2019 in which she recounted her time on the show.
