Ganesh Chaturthi 2025 celebrations began with devotion and grandeur at Arpita Khan Sharma’s residence in Mumbai, where the Khan family came together to welcome Lord Ganesha. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, accompanied by his parents Salim Khan and Salma Khan, was seen performing the Ganesh aarti with utmost devotion. Several family members, including Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Alvira Agnihotri, Atul Agnihotri, Alizeh Agnihotri, along with close friends Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, joined the festivities.

In the photos from the celebration, Salman Khan is seen performing the Ganesh aarti dressed in a crisp black shirt paired with beige trousers, maintaining his signature understated yet stylish look. Standing beside him, Salim Khan kept it casual in a light blue denim shirt, white trousers, and a black cap, while gently supporting Salma Khan during the ritual.
Salma Khan looked graceful in an off-white floral kurta set as she held the aarti thali, offering prayers to Lord Ganesha. The family’s collective devotion reflected the spirit of togetherness, faith, and tradition that marks the festival every year.
The puja space at Arpita’s home was adorned with vibrant flowers and decorations, creating a divine atmosphere as chants and prayers filled the room. Videos of the Khan family’s Ganpati celebration quickly went viral on social media, with fans praising their devotion and unity.
Salman Khan’s Upcoming Project: Battle Of Galwan
On the work front, Salman Khan has begun shooting for his highly anticipated film Battle Of Galwan in Ladakh. Director Apoorva Lakhia recently shared behind-the-scenes glimpses from the sets, including a photo of a ritual performed before the start of production and an ID card featuring the film’s poster.
The film is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers. Salman will be seen portraying Colonel B. Santosh Babu, the Indian Army officer who led his troops during the confrontation. The movie also stars Chitrangda Singh, Zeyn Shaw, Ankur Bhatia, and Harshil Shah.
Just before this, Salman appeared in Sikandar and continues to juggle multiple projects, including his return as the host of Bigg Boss, which premiered its new season on August 24.
