BTS’ J-Hope revealed a new “Hope” tattoo with celebrity artist Dr. Woo, while fans speculate V got ink inspired by the poem “King.”

BTS’ J-Hope debuts new ‘Hope’ tattoo while fans speculate V’s hidden ‘King’ design.
BTS members J-Hope and V are raising curiosity after being spotted with celebrity tattooist Dr. Woo. On August 26, Dr. Woo shared now-deleted Instagram photos with the idols inside his Los Angeles studio. In the images, J-Hope’s new thigh tattoo was clearly visible, while V’s ink remained a mystery, sparking a wave of fan speculation online.
J-Hope Shows Off Bold New Tattoo
Fans were quick to notice J-Hope’s latest addition—an uppercase “HOPE” tattoo etched just above his right knee. This marks his second visible tattoo, following the group’s symbolic “7″ he inked above his Achilles tendon in 2022.
The “7″ tattoo was a decision the group made together during their FESTA dinner, representing their unity and fateful bond. J-Hope’s new ink, however, feels more personal, tying directly to his stage name and positive persona. His visit to Dr. Woo’s studio, which he earlier teased through a Hollywood snapshot, now makes sense as the star debuts this meaningful design.
Did V Get Ink Inspired by “King”?
While J-Hope’s tattoo was on full display, V’s supposed new ink remained hidden. Speculation swirled after fans recalled he had previously shared an illustration of the famous poem King on his Instagram story. Rumors suggest he may have chosen a line from the poem for his tattoo, though no photo confirmation has surfaced.
For now, ARMY is left piecing together clues, with many believing his time at Dr. Woo’s studio was not just for company. V, like his bandmates, already has the matching “7″ tattoo placed above his left knee, but fans think this could mark his first deeply personal design.
Across the group, tattoos remain a symbol of individuality and shared history. Jimin has a lunar-themed back piece, while Jungkook—BTS’ most inked member—sports a full sleeve and multiple designs. RM, Jin, and Suga all have their “7″ tattoos in unique placements, creating a collective yet personalised memory of their journey together.
As for J-Hope and V, their latest visit to Dr. Woo’s studio has left ARMY buzzing with excitement, waiting for the official reveal of V’s potential “King” ink.
