Armaan Malik reacts to brother Amaal Malik’s Bigg Boss 19 entry.
Bigg Boss 19 may have started on an average note, but one contestant has already grabbed attention—composer and singer Amaal Malik. While he is trying to make his mark in the house, his family appears less than thrilled with his decision.
In a recent Q&A on X (formerly Twitter), a fan asked Armaan Malik to share his thoughts on his brother Amaal joining Salman Khan’s controversial reality show. Armaan replied candidly, “Obviously was never for it, but ab Amaal bhai sahab ko kaun samjhaye. Anyway, boarding school samajhke kuch masti karke aajaye wapas. Bahut gaane pending hai.”

His reaction instantly caught fans’ attention, as he admitted he wasn’t supportive of Amaal’s choice but hoped his elder brother would treat the experience lightly and return to focus on their pending musical projects.
Amaal Malik’s Controversial Past Statements
Amaal Malik has been no stranger to headlines. Back in March 2025, he shocked fans with a social media note confessing he had been battling clinical depression. In the same post, he revealed feeling emotionally and financially drained, and even declared he would “cut ties with his family,” keeping only a professional relationship intact. Though he deleted the post soon after, the statement sparked conversations about his struggles.
Later, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Amaal elaborated on the pressures he faced, especially constant comparisons within his family. “In any relationship, if you are compared, it’s like you are less,” he shared, highlighting how it impacted his self-worth and creative journey.
Even Salman Khan appeared skeptical during the grand premiere of Bigg Boss 19. The superstar admitted he was surprised to see Amaal’s name on the contestant list, citing his controversial nature and outspoken tweets. In a subtle warning, Salman advised him to be careful with his words inside the house.
With Amaal trying to establish his presence in the BB house and Armaan openly expressing his disapproval, the Malik brothers’ dynamic has added another layer of intrigue to this season.
Bigg Boss 19 streams daily at 9 PM on JioHotstar and airs at 10:30 PM on Colors TV.
