Awez Darbar entered the Bigg Boss 19 house during the premiere on Sunday, August 24. Interestingly, he is the brother-in-law of Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan. Therefore, did Gauahar give him some crucial tips to survive and rule the Bigg Boss house? No, he said.
Ahead of his entry in Salman Khan’s controversial reality show, Awez Darbar exclusively spoke to News18 Showsha and shared why Gauahar did not give him any survival tips. “She believes in me. She told me to stay the way I am. I think I am very similar to her. Both of us are very competitive. Whenever there is a game, even at home, we two are the ones fighting. Others are only spectators. She knows that I will not disappoint people. I was happy that she did not give me any tips,” Awez said.
However, is Awez worried that the audience might compare his Bigg Boss journey to that of Gauahar? When asked about the same, the content creator said, “Maybe people will compare me to Gauahar in the beginning, but when they see my game, they’ll understand that we are different. It is obvious for the audience to look at me keeping her game in mind, but it will get changed. This is why I do not want to say a lot. Watch and then decide.”
Who Is Awez Darbar?
Awez Darbar is the younger son of renowned music composer Ismail Darbar and the brother-in-law of Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan. Professionally, Awez Darbar is a social media influencer and choreographer. He used to be one of the famous tiktok stars earlier. Later, he launched his YouTube channel in 2014 and started posting his dance videos on it. Awez, along with his brother Zaid Darbar and Tejal Pimpley, founded their dance studio, B You Academy, which was inaugurated by Sanjay Leela Bhansali in 2019.
