Willow Smith has shared a spiritual milestone with her fans. The singer and actor, daughter of Hollywood stars Will Smith and Jada Pinkett, revealed on Instagram that she is featured on Govinda Nights, a devotional track released by artist Londrelle on Janmashtami.
Posting a series of photos, Willow gave followers a glimpse into her celebration – from performing aarti at ISKCON to holding a chanting bag and standing before a Radha–Krishna image. Draped in a scarf with Vaishnav tika on her forehead, she looked deeply involved in the rituals.

The carousel included a slide of Willow playing guitar while chanting, hinting at her fusion of bhakti practices with contemporary sound. Another shared her reflections on “signature patterns of vibration”, tying sound to spirituality. She closed the post with the album cover of Govinda Nights.
This project continues Willow’s exploration of devotional music. She has previously collaborated with Jahnavi Harrison on Sanskrit mantra recordings, including the EP R I S E and the single Surrender (Krishna Keshava). Their bond began at a Kirtan event hosted by Jay Shetty.
Is Willow Smith Hindu?
While Willow openly embraces Hindu traditions, her family has followed different paths. Will Smith once admitted he avoids religious labels, while Jada Pinkett has spoken about drawing from Scientology teachings but without formally joining the church.
Willow’s post comes shortly after she raised concern with fans by sharing a tearful selfie paired with an explicit caption. Some took it lightly, but others worried about her mental state. It also reignited conversations around her sexuality and relationships.
In 2019, she came out as bisexual, and in 2021, she revealed she is polyamorous, explaining on Red Table Talk that she felt traditional marriage was restrictive for women. Earlier this year, she also spoke on Instagram Live about learning connection through observing animals, outside human gender roles.
With Govinda Nights, Willow continues to blend her artistry with spirituality – a journey her followers seem keen to witness.
