The veteran actor recently clapped back at a troll who tried to body-shame her for wearing shorts at the airport. Known for her candid nature and unfiltered approach to life, Neena did not hold back while addressing the negativity.
The 65-year-old star had shared a casual Instagram video from the airport, giving fans a glimpse into her travel routine. Dressed in a chic black outfit with shorts, Neena was seen sitting in the waiting lounge and chatting directly with her followers. She revealed her clever hack for surviving long hours at the airport—packing homemade snacks in a tiffin box. Her favorite go-to is roti rolls stuffed with potatoes, chillies, paneer, onions, and other spices, a simple yet wholesome treat. Captioning the video “Shorts wali desi girl,” Neena showed off her mix of comfort and style.
Troll Targets Neena Gupta’s Outfit
While many praised her for her effortless charm, one social media user chose to body-shame her. The comment read: “Very good …only request don’t show your legs, they are not well toned. We have never seen dadi mummy showing their legs this way. Ageing gracefully is excellent.”
Another follower immediately defended Neena, calling out the woman for being a body-shamer: “What a demeaning comment from another WOMAN. Congratulations for being such a body shamer and being part of the problem.”

Never one to mince words, Neena responded directly to the troll in the comments section. “Don’t worry. These people who talk like this are basically jealous that they don’t have such good body, so ignore,” she wrote, shutting down the negativity with her signature wit.
