Veteran actress Waheeda Rehman recently revisited a light-hearted moment she shared with late actor Sunil Dutt, recalling how he was left surprised by her natural look during a hospital visit.

Speaking on Arbaaz Khan’s chat show The Invincibles, Waheeda remembered visiting Sunil Dutt in hospital after he had fallen unwell during his famous padayatra. She walked into the ICU to check on him when he looked at her in shock.

Curious, she asked what had happened, and Sunil immediately said, “What have you done?” Thinking he was referring to her presence in the ICU, Waheeda explained that she had taken permission to enter. But Sunil quickly clarified, “I am not talking about that, I am speaking about your hair. Why did you colour your hair white?”

Waheeda laughed as she recalled telling him, “Sunil, I have not coloured it white, instead stopped colouring it black. They are actually white.”
