K-pop idol fights are always interesting to watch, as some of the fights are so dramatic that the stars cannot stop laughing about them years later, while other stories remain mysterious, and we may never know the real reason behind those fights.
From spilt drinks to choreography disputes – some fights get so extremely serious that idols prefer not to revisit them; others are as trivial as a dumpling fight between BTS members V and Jimin. Let us take a look at some of the most iconic fights in K-pop history:
BTS Clashes
Although BTS members are widely praised for their strong friendship and genuine bond, disagreements between the members often take place. For instance, Jimin and V once had a dramatic fight over dumplings, and they did not speak for weeks. A far more serious fight was captured between Jin and V when they argued over Spring Day choreography. RM had to step in to stop the fight; later he was seen comforting a teary V. Another memorable fight occurred between Jimin and Jungkook, where the former singer stormed out in the rain and walked alone for 20 minutes only to receive an apology from Jungkook.
Stray Kids Fights
Han and Seungmin’s wallet incident is one of the most memorable clashes that ever occurred between Stray Kids members. Seungmin was waiting for Han to clean up his belongings, but Han did not give it any importance, leading Seungmin to confront Han about the matter and Han throwing his wallet at him. This incident was later discussed in the 2 Kids Room series, where Han expressed his regret over the incident.
Super Junior Disputes
From spilt cola and ice cream mishaps to fights over high-fives and airport food, Super Junior fights are legendary for their chaotic nature. One significant altercation occurred between Leeteuk and Heechul during the 2010 Incheon Korean Music Wave Concert. The disagreement led to physical confrontation, with both members admitting to pushing and shoving each other. The members later stated the fight nearly led to the group’s disbandment.
Seventeen Clashes
One of the memorable fights of the Seventeen members has to be the Jeju incident. The conflict began when Jeonghan and DK invited Seungkwan to join them on Jeju Island. Things took a turn when Jeonghan and DK expressed interest in riding a transparent kayak, leading Jeonghan to suggest that Seungkwan pay for it. However, Seungkwan felt reluctant, perceiving that DK might be avoiding the expense due to previous purchases. The misunderstanding led to a brief argument between Seungkwan and DK.
Fights between Mamamoo Members
Moonbyul and Solar were famous for their initial conflict days when the fights could get physical with the members pulling each other’s hair, kicking, and even digging nails into each other. However, later they learnt how to handle disagreements more gracefully.
SHINee Conflicts
Key and Minho clashed over differences in dialect, leading to the creation of tension and awkward cold wars between the members. Over time the duo learnt to keep aside their differences and became close friends.
