Nagesh Kukunoor created this psychological thriller series, in which Madhuri would play a serial killer. Mrs. Deshpande, based on a French series, follows the police as they solicit the assistance of a serial murderer in order to learn and capture the habits and patterns of another killer. The excitement surrounding the series is considerable, as fans wait to see Madhuri transition into the character of a serial killer, which contrasts with her previous gorgeous portrayals.
