Avneet Kaur is no stranger to turning heads, but this time, she’s done it with a look that’s equal parts glam and relatable. The actress and social media star recently stepped out for a night in the city, proving yet again why she’s a certified style icon for Gen Z and beyond. Avneet struck the perfect balance between chic sophistication and easygoing charm and she did it all in an outfit that costs less than a fancy dinner for two.
For her latest rooftop moment, Avneet opted for a sexy Rs 5k ensemble that looked straight out of a high-fashion editorial. She paired a shimmering pink sequin skirt with a fitted white crop top that showed off her toned midriff. The skirt costed her Rs 3,861 while the top was for Rs 1,097 from the fashion brand Lea Clothing.
A matching pink shoulder bag subtly complemented the skirt. Avneet kept her hair sleek and pulled back, letting her glowing makeup do the talking with dewy skin, a rosy flush, bold brows, and a glossy pink pout. Minimal silver jewellery, including a chunky bracelet, added just the right amount of bling.
The city skyline in the background, dotted with glowing lights and cranes, gave the whole scene that perfect “It girl in the city” vibe. The caption to her post read, “Yes hi this is she.”

Avneet Kaur’s journey in the entertainment world began all the way back in 2010 when she charmed audiences as a tiny dancer on Dance India Dance Li’l Masters. Her energy and talent stood out even then, and she soon appeared on Dance Ke Superstars as well. But dancing was just the beginning for her.
In 2012, Avneet took her first steps into acting with the TV show Meri Maa. From there, she kept the momentum going with roles in Tedhe Hain Par Tere Mere Hain and even joined Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as the youngest contestant ever dancing alongside actor Darsheel Safary.
By 2013, Avneet Kaur was playing a royal in Savitri – Ek Prem Kahani and also appeared in Ek Mutthi Aasmaan. She tried her hand at hosting with The Weekly Rap on ZeeQ. Her big-screen debut came in 2014 with Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani, and the same year, she was also seen in Hamari Sister Didi.
She kept experimenting with roles — starring in the short film Dost in 2016, and in 2017, playing Rajkumari Charumati in the historical drama Chandra Nandini. But her most famous TV role came soon after — from 2018 to 2020, she played Princess Yasmine in Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga, a role that made her hugely popular. Sadly, she had to leave the show due to health issues.
In recent years, Avneet has moved towards films. In 2023, she appeared in Chidiakhana and Tiku Weds Sheru. In 2024, she starred in Luv Ki Arrange Marriage and Party Till I Die. Now, she’s preparing for one of her biggest projects yet — Love in Vietnam, co-starring Shantanu Maheshwari and Vietnamese star Kha Ngan. Directed by Rahhat Shah Kazmi, the film was announced at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival and is special for being the first-ever movie collaboration between India and Vietnam.
