Actor Nakuul Mehta received an emotional Raksha Bandhan message from his sister, Pracchi P Mehta, who celebrated their lifelong bond with heartfelt words on Instagram.

Posting photographs — including childhood snapshots and a video of their Rakhi celebration — Pracchi honoured the unspoken understanding and loyalty that has defined their relationship over the years.

‘You’ve Always Been My Quiet Anchor’

Pracchi began her note saying, “For the brother who stood quietly by my side…” She wrote about how some personal and familial challenges are hardly spoken of, not even with good friends.

She spoke of times when things overwhelmed her, dreams were too much to bear or money was too tight. All along, she said, Nakuul never asked for explanations or reasons, but just stood beside her.

“No parties. No thunderous announcements. Just quiet affirmation in the midst of my storm,” she posted.

Unconditional Love In Action

Pracchi characterised her brother as the epitome of unconditional love: “People ask me often what unconditional love looks like. I think of you.”

Ending her message, she thanked Nakuul for staying when life got messy: “You stood with me, and that saved me. Love you always @nakuulmehta.”

Nakuul Mehta’s Onscreen Journey

Nakuul first appeared on the web in 2016 with I Don’t Watch TV, also producing it. He subsequently appeared in the romantic drama series Never Kiss Your Best Friend (2020–2022), short film Ved and Arya (2020) and popular television series Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 (2023).

His versatile roles and charismatic screen presence have earned him a loyal fan following, making him one of television’s most admired actors.

A Bond Beyond The Festival

While Raksha Bandhan traditionally revolves around rituals, Pracchi’s post captured the essence of the bond — the quiet acts of love, the shared history and the unshakable trust that siblings carry for life.

Her tribute, combined with black-and-white photographs and current-day celebrations, provided fans with a peek into a relationship founded on equal respect and unflinching support.

This Raksha Bandhan, her words were a quiet reminder that the greatest love can be heard in silence, yet reverberate for an eternity.
