Mouni Roy’s Emotional Connection to Smriti Irani
In a conversation with Zoom, Mouni revealed she hasn’t had the chance to fully catch up on the new episodes due to her busy shooting schedule. “I’ve actually seen two in bits and pieces,” she shared.
When asked about her feelings on Kyunki’s return, the actress lit up. “I was very excited. It’s my Smriti ‘Di’ coming back and my Ekta ‘ma’am.’ They’re practically family. When you started that young with people like that. I still remember her getting me books and giving me ice cream on the day that I was sad. So we go back that many years, and I was very excited.”
Mouni also revealed that Smriti herself is equally thrilled for the show’s return. “In fact, she’s also very excited for the show.”
