The 2025 edition of the Duleep Trophy will be played between six teams – North Zone, South Zone, East Zone, West Zone, Central Zone and Northeast Zone – from August 28 to September 11 across two venues in Bengaluru. Many Indian Test players, which also includes captain Shubman Gill, will feature in the Duleep Trophy, but as many as 10 players who featured in the recently concluded India-England Test series will not be seen in action during the Duleep Trophy. While some of them are unavailable due to injury-related issues, a few others were rested by their zonal teams. Here’s a look:
