Zeishan Quadri is currently winning hearts with his stint in Salman Khan’s controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 19. In a house full of never-ending fights and non-stop drama, the writer-actor’s humour in the first week felt itself felt like a breath of fresh air. He was often seen cracking jokes with co-participants, lightening up tense situations. But can he survive till the end?
Among all contestants, Awez Darbar has the most social media following with around 30.5 million followers on Instagram, followed by Ashnoor Kaur and Nagma Mirajkar with 10 million and 7.9 million followers. In this list, Zeishan’s name lies at the bottom with just 40,000 followers.
Zeishan Quadri Says Instagram Followers Don’t Guarantee You Win
Before his appearance in Bigg Boss 19, Zeishan sat down for an interview with Instant Bollywood, where he shared that Instagram followers cannot guarantee you 100 per cent success, citing an example of Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra.
He said, “Karan Veer Mehra, jo last year ka winner hai, uske abtk 1 million follower bhi nahi hai par wo hai na winner. To usko votes poore India se mile, bahar se mile. To ye aapki game pr depend karta hai aap kaisa khel rhe ho aur aapko log kitna pasand karte hain.”
(Karan Veer Mehra, who is last year’s winner, does not have 1 million followers yet, but he is a winner. So he got votes from all over India, from outside. So it depends on your game, how you are playing and how many people like you).
Zeishan Quadri Fight With Tanya Mittal
In the recent episode of Bigg Boss 19, Zeishan got into an ugly spat with Tanya Mittal over cleaning of the smoking room, which the latter refused to do.
Tanya had been assigned to clean the garden area and since the smoking room is part of that area, Baseer and Zeishan asked her to clean it as well. Being a non-smoker, the entrepreneur-cum-influencer refused to clean it.
Zeishan even stated that he will not give food to Tanya unless she cleans the smoking room. Despite that, she refused to do it.
