Bigg Boss 19 opened with fireworks on August 24, and in true fashion, the season didn’t take long to dive into drama. Within 24 hours, contestants clashed, alliances shifted, and one name grabbed all the attention, entrepreneur Tanya Mittal.

Her larger-than-life statements, ranging from family members calling her “Boss” to her remarks about bodyguards, immediately put her in the spotlight. By the end of Day 1, she was trending across social media, sparking memes, debates, and plenty of trolling. Many netizens dubbed her “show-off” and “cringe,” making her one of the most polarising contestants in the house so far.

Tanya Mittal’s Viral Claims: ‘Boss,’ Bodyguards, and Maha Kumbh Stories

In one of the opening conversations, Tanya told housemates that she prefers being called “Boss,” adding that even her family addresses her this way. “Women don’t get respect easily; they have to demand it,” she explained, saying she didn’t want to wait until her 50s to be respected.

She further claimed that she always travels with heavy security, sharing, “My bodyguards saved 100 people in Kumbh Mela, even police officers, and that’s how I ended up here.” According to Tanya, her family has always maintained security, and she enjoys the presence of PSOs and staff around her.

These statements quickly went viral online, with clips spreading across X and Instagram. While some admired her confidence, others dismissed the comments as exaggerated, fueling the trolling spree.

Ashnoor Kaur vs Tanya Mittal: Heated Clash on Day 1

Drama escalated when Tanya clashed with actress Ashnoor Kaur. Tanya accused her of being “ungrateful” and “badtameez,” while Ashnoor hit back, pointing out Tanya’s contradictory remarks. “First she said she never stepped outside the house, then claimed she had bodyguards and four cars,” Ashnoor noted.

Their verbal spat divided housemates, with Zeishaan Qadri siding with Ashnoor. Soon after, fan accounts shared promo clips labelling Tanya as “Miss Overacting”.

In another conversation with comedian Pranit More, Tanya said she was proud to enter Bigg Boss without compromising her culture or identity. “I am still wearing sarees here while many actors change their image. That’s my achievement,” she remarked, though critics online called it “cringe-worthy.”

Later, Tanya even referred to herself as “Raja,” saying she came into the house without exposure, friends, or industry backing, and credited her faith in God for her journey.

As Bigg Boss 19 unfolds, Tanya Mittal has already cemented herself as the season’s early headline-maker. Whether loved or loathed, she’s undeniably driving conversations and adding fuel to the house’s drama. If Day 1 is any indication, Tanya is set to remain a talking point throughout the season.
