Filmmaker Farah Khan, who often entertains fans with her fun banter with her cook Dilip, has now taken her travel vlog to the next stop – Rishikesh. After their first trip to the Maldives, the duo was recently spotted attending the sacred Ganga Aarti. Farah’s manager, Kalp Shah, shared glimpses of the spiritual outing on Instagram.
On Sunday, Kalp posted a carousel of photos featuring himself with Farah and Dilip. In one of the pictures, Farah is seen sitting with her head covered in a dupatta which had Om written on it, hands folded in prayer, fully immersed in the divine atmosphere. Dilip and Kalpesh were seated behind her. Another photo captured Farah performing the traditional Aarti.
Sharing the pictures, Kalp wrote: “In the roar of Ganga and the silence of Shiva, the universe finds its balance #gangaarti Blessed Thank you @farahkhankunder for everything you do Thank you @swaamiramdev @parmarthniketan @deepakparmarth for your warm welcome.”
Farah, touched by the moment, responded in the comments: “It was truly a magical experience… may all your prayers be answered, Kalp… n more.” She also shared a short video on her Instagram story, writing, “First time Rishikesh and what an experience.”

Farah Khan’s bond with her cook Dilip goes far beyond the kitchen. Recently, the filmmaker revealed that she has been supporting the education of Dilip’s children. One of them has now been enrolled in an English-medium school, while the other is pursuing a culinary diploma to pave the way for a better future. Sharing her thoughts while visiting Shalin Bhanot, Farah said, “Kyunkee abhi hamaara show chal raha hai, iskey bachchon ko English medium me daal diya hai. Aur ek bachche ko culinary school se diploma karaaya hai… taaki ghar me na kaam karein, kisi ache restaurant, yaa bade hotel me kaam karein.”
Geeta Kapur says Farah Khan turned Dilip into a star
Choreographer Geeta Kapur, who often acknowledges Farah’s significant role in her career, shared how Farah turned her cook Dilip into a star and she doesn’t get affected by his growing fame. Geeta praised Farah as a trendsetter who has adeptly adapted to social media, creating a cooking show that boosted Dilip’s success.
In an interview with Hindi Rush, Geeta Kapur said, “Farah has learnt how to capture the market of social media too now. She made a show on cooking, Dilip ki life bann gayi hai (Dilip is doing very well in life now), he is doing collaborations these days. She is amazing. She is okay with Dilip taking more fame than Farah through her vlog. Unko lagta hai jo aapki kismat ka hai voh koi nahi cheen sakta. (She believes that no one can take away what is destined for you). You will get your due.”
In the vlogs, Farah Khan and Dilip visit the homes of Bollywood and television celebrities to cook and chat, and viewers love watching their fun banter. They will also attend the YouTube Fanfest together, scheduled for September 11 in Mumbai.
