After nearly two years of speculation and endless fan theories, Ektaa Kapoor has finally confirmed the arrival of Naagin Season 7. Known for its thrilling blend of fantasy, romance, revenge and high drama, the franchise has redefined Indian primetime viewing and created a dedicated fan base that has remained loyal since its debut in 2015.
To add to the excitement, the first official teaser of Naagin 7 was unveiled during the premiere night of Bigg Boss Season 19. Bringing two of India’s biggest television brands together on one stage ensures that millions of viewers will tune in to witness this much-awaited reveal.

The buzz around Naagin 7 skyrocketed when Ektaa Kapoor herself released the teaser on Instagram. In her post, she shared her excitement while also acknowledging the loyalty of the show’s massive fan following. She wrote, “Do all my darling Nagin fans out of all my shows you guys are the most loyal and probably troll me the most! ! So for all you guys here it is NNAGIN7.” Her announcement instantly went viral. Fans flooded social media with comments, speculations and excitement over what the new season will bring. Questions about the cast, the storyline and who would step into the legendary role of the Naagin dominated conversations across platforms, making the teaser one of the hottest topics online.
How Naagin Changed Indian Television Forever
When Naagin first premiered in 2015, it marked a turning point for Indian television. At a time when family dramas ruled TRP charts, Ektaa Kapoor introduced an entirely new genre to the primetime slot — supernatural fantasy. Bigg Boss 19 Brings a New Viewing Format
The teaser launch also coincides with a new era for Bigg Boss, which returned with its nineteenth season on August 24. This year, the format of the show has been slightly altered, giving fans on the OTT platform an upper hand. Instead of premiering simultaneously on Jio Hotstar and Colors TV as in previous seasons, Bigg Boss 19 will now release episodes earlier on the digital platform.
Episodes will premiere on Jio Hotstar at 9:00 PM, while the television broadcast on Colors TV will begin later at 10:30 PM. This means that eager fans who want to catch the drama as soon as it unfolds will turn to Jio Hotstar, while others can continue enjoying the traditional television experience on Colors TV.
