Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino, one of the most anticipated Bollywood releases of the year, is all set to make its digital premiere. The film, featuring an ensemble cast of Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Neena Gupta, will begin streaming on Netflix starting August 29, 2025.
Carrying forward the emotional depth and storytelling style of Basu’s acclaimed Life in a… Metro (2007), the new film explores the many shades of love and loss in today’s rapidly changing world. Its very title, Metro… In Dino, is inspired by the beloved track “In Dino” from the original film, a song that continues to hold nostalgic value for audiences nearly two decades later.
At its heart, the film is a mosaic of interconnected stories. Set across four bustling cities—Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Bangalore—Metro… In Dino follows four pairs navigating the messy, unpredictable terrain of modern relationships.
