The much-anticipated teaser of Ek Chatur Naar, starring Divya Khossla and Neil Nitin Mukesh, is finally out, offering audiences a thrilling first glimpse into the comedy thriller that promises equal parts humour, suspense, and mind games.

Unveiled on Thursday, the teaser blends comedy with chaos, driven by Ravi Kishan’s intriguing voiceover that hints at a plot brimming with clever tricks, hidden motives, and unexpected turns. Directed by Umesh Shukla, the film sets the stage for a duel of wits, where appearances are deceiving and nothing is quite as straightforward as it seems. While Divya is introduced as a ‘common’ woman, the teaser suggests she is far more ‘hoshiyar’ (smart) than she looks—capable of outsmarting Neil’s sharp-suited, sly, and devious character.

This unveiling comes after the motion poster dropped earlier this month, introducing audiences to the contrasting personas of the leads. In the poster, Divya was seen slicing vegetables with a mysterious expression, while Neil stood menacingly in a suit, gun in hand, his sly smile adding to the intrigue. Sharing the poster on Instagram, Neil teased viewers with the caption: “Samajhne mein waqt lagega… par jab samajh jaoge toh der ho chuki hogi.”

Backed by producers Umesh Shukla, Ashish Wagh, and Zeeshan Ahmad, Ek Chatur Naar is shaping up to be a fresh blend of comedy and thriller. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on 12 September 2025, setting high expectations for its theatrical run.

For Neil Nitin Mukesh, this marks a return to the big screen after his appearance in the musical drama Hai Junoon – Dream, Dare, Dominate, directed by Abhishek Sharma. That ensemble film featured Jacqueline Fernandez, Sumedh Mudgalkar, Siddharth Nigam, Yukti Thareja, Priyank Sharma, and several others in pivotal roles. Divya, meanwhile, was last seen in the 2024 escape drama Savi, co-starring Harshvardhan Rane. Despite its ambition, the Abhinay Deo directorial underperformed at the box office, earning under ₹18 crore against a ₹20 crore budget.

With its teaser already sparking curiosity, Ek Chatur Naar looks ready to draw audiences into its twisted world of clever games, sharp humour, and gripping suspense.
