Justin Baldoni has officially addressed accusations made by Isabela Ferrer, who claimed she faced bullying and harassment from the It Ends With Us director. The allegations emerged amid a legal battle involving Blake Lively, according to People.
Isabela Ferrer’s Allegations Against Justin Baldoni
Isabela Ferrer, who portrayed the younger version of Blake Lively’s character Lily, alleged that Baldoni and his production company Wayfarer Studios treated her unfairly during legal proceedings. Her legal team said that after being subpoenaed by Blake Lively’s side earlier this year, Ferrer requested reimbursement for her legal costs as per her contract.
According to her attorneys, Wayfarer Studios refused payment unless Ferrer allowed them to control her response to Lively’s subpoena. Her lawyers further claimed that Baldoni attempted to manipulate and intimidate her through “inappropriate conduct” during the process.
Justin Baldoni’s Response
In court documents filed on Monday, August 18, Baldoni’s legal team strongly denied these claims. People obtained filings in which his lawyers described Ferrer’s allegations as “primarily an inappropriate attack upon Mr. Baldoni and his counsel relating to matters not before the Court and irrelevant.”
Baldoni’s attorneys argued that the subpoena from his side was valid, aiming to collect documents either not previously provided or outside the scope of her original subpoena from Lively’s team in February. They added that issuing the subpoena does not constitute harassment, calling her claims “without merit.”
The Bigger Picture
This dispute has heightened tension in the ongoing high-profile legal situation surrounding It Ends With Us. In January, Baldoni publicly shared a text exchange with Ferrer, indicating that the conflict had been simmering for months. The trial is officially scheduled for March 2026.
