Star Pakistani batter and former all-format captain Babar Azam came out to bat at No. 3 for the Mohammad Rizwan-led side in the second ODI against the West Indies on Sunday (August 10), but he failed to open his account even and got out for a three-ball duck. On the last ball of the ninth over of the match taking place at Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad, fast bowler Jayden Seales breached Babar’s defence and shattered his stumps.

The clip of Babar’s wicket and his stunned reaction after the dismissal was shared by fans on X, and within no time it went viral on the internet.

Babar, who is no longer part of Pakistan’s T20I set-up, scored 47 runs from 64 balls in the first ODI played on Friday (August 8). In the series opener, he hammered five fours and one six during his stay at the crease.
