The service will provide an additional travel option between Kanpur and the National Capital Region, while also connecting several key stations along the route.
The train will operate as Train No. 14153/14154 Kanpur Central-Anand Vihar (T)-Kanpur Central Mail. It will connect passengers travelling to and from stations including Etawah, Aligarh, Khurja and Ghaziabad.
Kanpur-Anand Vihar train timings
Train No. 14153 will depart from Kanpur Central at 8:40 PM and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 4:50 AM the next morning.
On the return journey, Train No. 14154 will leave Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:25 PM and arrive at Kanpur Central at 7:25 AM. The train will cover 428 km in both directions.
The journey from Kanpur to Anand Vihar will take around 8 hours and 10 minutes, while the return journey will take approximately 8 hours.

The new daily train will have eight commercial stoppages along the route:
Phaphund
Etawah
Tundla
Hathras
Aligarh
Khurja
Dadri
Ghaziabad
The service will offer overnight connectivity for passengers travelling between Kanpur, Delhi and stations along the route.
New train to strengthen Kanpur-Delhi connectivity
According to the Ministry of Railways, the new Mail service will improve rail connectivity between Kanpur Central and Anand Vihar while providing access to several important stations along the route.
The service will facilitate passenger movement between Kanpur, Etawah, Aligarh, Ghaziabad and the Delhi region.
