The first look of Nishaanchi, the upcoming film featuring Aaishvary Thackeray, Bal Thackeray’s grandson, has generated significant buzz. A new, power-packed poster from the film was unveiled on August 7, showcasing the lead and supporting cast in their respective characters. While much is known about Aaishvary, thanks to his politically influential family, do you know who the female lead in the film is? It’s Vedika Pinto — the girl who rose to fame in Ritviz’s chartbuster track, Liggi.
In Liggi, Vedika Pinto played the the bride, dancing her heart out and getting used to her new life while her husband slept through all her adorable antics. Back then, Salman Khan had also lauded Ritviz’s video and prominently mentioned Vedika, stating, “Aaj ka generation, kamaal pe kamaal kiye ja rha h! So much energy, so cool and hip, fully into it! I think is ladki ka naam h Vedika Pinto!”
In a rather big break, she now stars as the female lead in Nishaanchi, opposite Aaishvary Thackeray. Her face is prominently visible in the new poster from the film released earlier today. She is also great friends with the Pandays and was seen putting up a special performance for Ahaan Panday’s sister Alanna Panday at her wedding.
“Aaj poster aur kal milegi pehli jhalak – style bhi hoga, dialogue baazi bhi! Teaser dropping tomorrow,” wrote the makers, while sharing a new poster of Nishaanchi.
Celebs and fans alike lauded the new poster for Nishaanchi. Navya Nanda, Dhadak 2 star Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Sooraj Pancholi, and others commented on the new poster from the film.
The preview of Nishaanchi showcases a mix of action, drama, and comedy, hinting at a gritty, action-packed story with laugh-out-loud moments. The narrative follows two brothers, identical in appearance but vastly different in their choices, which shape their destinies.
Adding to the excitement, a new poster has been revealed, announcing the release of the teaser scheduled for tomorrow, August 8. The poster captures the essence of desi cinema – bold, multi-layered, and dramatic. It promises a world where love, revenge, and destiny intersect.
The film features the powerful acting debut of Aaishvary Thackeray in a high-octane double role, alongside Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kumud Mishra in key roles.
Produced by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh under the banner of Jar Pictures, in association with Flip Films, Nishaanchi is directed by Anurag Kashyap and written by Prasoon Mishra, Ranjan Chandel, and Anurag Kashyap. The film releases in theatres on September 19.
