iQOO 15R is launching in India this month and here’s what we know
iQOO 15R launch has been teased for the Indian market and we also know when it will be announced later this month. iQOO is bringing its new premium device with focus on heavy users and gamers, but it seems the new model will also have other highlights, including its appealing design and powerful camera hardware on board.
This device will be using one of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen chipset, along with a high refresh rate screen to support popular games in better quality and yes, a fast-charging battery available as well.
iQOO 15 India Launch In February: What To Expect
The company has got a microsite live which reveals some of the details about the new iQOO 15 series device and its design. The brand is going to offer a 144Hz refresh rate screen, most likely with an AMOLED panel that offers adaptive screen switch for better and smoother navigation.
The phone is also tipped to come with a Q2 gaming chip which focuses on better gaming performance with lower latency. iQOO will be using the new OriginOS 6 version for its new phone like the others launched in the last few months. Using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 could give it flagship-level performance without being too costly.
The design could be part of the talking points about the iQOO 15 with its dual-tone finish and a metal body being used for better durability along with higher IP68 and IP69 ratings supported.
The brand could feature a large 6.59-inch screen with 1.5K resolution which does sound likely, however, we might see a slightly bigger unit.
For imaging, the iQOO 15R could bring a 200MP main camera along with an inferior 8MP ultrawide lens. But as for the backup on the device, we expect to see a 7,600mAh battery with 100W wired charging supported. Keeping all of this in mind, the iQOO 15R price could start around Rs 55,000 in the market.
