Television actress Shafaq Naaz, who won hearts with her portrayal of Kunti in the epic show Mahabharat, has found love again. On Friday, the actress shared a series of beautiful pictures with her partner, giving fans a glimpse into her happy personal life.
Though Shafaq didn’t reveal her partner’s name or write much in the caption, her post said it all. She simply wrote, “Ghar,” and that was enough to melt hearts. One of the photos shows her partner lovingly kissing her, while another monochrome snap captures the two sharing a warm hug proving love doesn’t always need grand gestures.
Interestingly, entertainment portal Telly Chakkar reported that Shafaq is married to her beau. However, News18 couldn’t verify the same at the time of reporting.
Industry Peers Congratulate Couple
As soon as the pictures were posted, celebrities couldn’t resist showering love and blessings on the beautiful couple. Actress Farnaz Shetty wrote, “It’s official now cuties. I’m getting emotional. May god always love and protect you both.” Another friend from the industry, Veebha Anand, expressed her excitement saying, “I’m soooo happy to see this!!! Bhaoooottt Sara pyaarrr.”
Shafaq Naaz’s Love Life
Shafaq Naaz has always been open about her personal life. Earlier, she had revealed that she dated actor Avinash Sachdev for six months during the shoot of Teri Meri Love Stories (2012), although Avinash later denied being in a relationship with her. The actor later participated in Bigg Boss OTT 2 where he made headlines for his close bond with Shafaq’s sister Falaq Naaz. In 2023, the actress reportedly ended her engagement with a Muscat-based businessman she had been with for three years, citing family differences as the reason for their breakup.
For Shafaq, marriage is not just about two individuals coming together; it is a union of two families. In an interview with Bombay Times, she earlier shared her thoughts on marriage, saying, “Marriage involves not just two individuals but also their families. When two families get together, differences can arise. Har family mein shaadi ke time par problems hoti hain aur thoda disagreement rehta hai, especially in the case of love marriages. Sadly, our families, too, had some misunderstandings, but I don’t want to blame anyone.”
Shafaq Naaz’s Career
Shafaq was last seen in the 2023 docuseries Dancing on the Grave. She made her acting debut in 2010 with Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai, and has since appeared in several popular TV shows, including Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, Laal Ishq, Chidiya Ghar and Gumrah.
