It’s the social media silence that says it all. Fans of Hansika Motwani have started speculating about trouble in her marriage to Sohael Khaturiya after the actress removed most of their wedding photos and videos from her Instagram. The two tied the knot in December 2022 in a grand ceremony that was turned into a reality series titled Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama.
Now, nearly three years later, fans have noticed the posts have almost all disappeared — and Hansika hasn’t shared anything new online since July 18.
Adding to the buzz, reports claim that Hansika has moved out of the home she shared with Sohael and is now living with her mother. Sohael, meanwhile, hasn’t been active online since 2023 and has now made his social media profile private.

The couple’s whirlwind romance, which began with a proposal in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, had once taken centre stage across entertainment platforms. Their highly documented wedding journey showed Hansika moving out of her mother’s apartment and starting a new chapter with Sohael. Now, fans are wondering if things have taken a turn behind the scenes. While Hansika Motwani didn’t react to these news reports, her husband did have something to say. An insider told HT, “Hansika has moved in with her mother, while Sohael is staying with his parents.” When the news portal tried reaching out to Hansika, she remained unresponsive, while her husband reacted to the reports with a text that read: “It’s not true.”
What’s also caught attention is that while a few old posts with Sohael still remain, most of their memories together have been deleted. The silence from both sides has only added to speculation that the marriage may be heading for a split.
Hansika and Sohael were friends before getting married, and he was previously married to Rinky Bajaj, who was rumoured to be close to Hansika. Addressing the rumours in the same web documentary, she had earlier said, “Just because I knew the person at that time doesn’t mean it was my fault. I have nothing to do with this. Because I am a public figure, it was very easy for people to point at me and make me the villain. This was a price I paid for being a celebrity.”
So far, neither Hansika nor Sohael has made any public comment on the state of their relationship. But fans are watching closely, waiting for answers.
