Bollywood’s power couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor celebrated Diwali 2025 with great enthusiasm, surrounded by their friends and family members. This marked their last Diwali celebration at their current residence Vaastu, before they move to their newly built bungalow in Pali Hill. Now, Alia has given a sneak-peek into their celebrations from last night. Her daughter Raha was seen adorably painting a diya, while her sister Shaheen Bhatt, filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, and others also joined Alia-Ranbir for the bash.
Alia Bhatt Gives A Peek Into Her Diwali Celebration
On Tuesday, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram account to share a series of pictures from the Diwali bash last night. In the first photo, Alia and Ranbir Kapoor strike a sweet pose on the balcony. Alia looked gorgeous in a pink kurta paired with a green flared palazzo. She kept her look elegant with minimal makeup, a necklace, and her hair styled in a half-updo adorned with a gajra. Meanwhile, Ranbir was seen in a white kurta pajama. Another picture shows Alia striking a cute pose with her sister Shaheen Bhatt, who stunned in a powder blue ethnic outfit. Another photo shows filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, and Shaheen’s boyfriend Ishaan Mehra with them. Meanwhile, Alia also shared a cute glimpse of baby Raha Kapoor painting a diya. While her face wasn’t visible in the photo, we can see a glimpse of her fuchsia pink outfit.

Alia Bhatt On Celebrating Last Diwali At Vaastu
In a conversation with Bombay Times, Alia Bhatt mentioned that this Diwali is going to be extra-special as it marks the last celebration at their current residence Vaastu in Bandra. “This is our last Diwali in the home that she (Raha) was born in. So, it’s actually really emotional time. But it is also very exciting because I know she might not remember this specific Diwali but the years of memories will build up and it’ll leave a feeling in her. And Diwali is all about feelings. It should feel warm and full of light,” she said.
“Today, we’ll do our Lakshmi Puja followed by a sweet moment with our staff — we give them presents and thank them for being with us. Through the puja, Raha will be eating ladoos and running around! The rest I keep simple… I keep talking about this balcony a lot – where we’ve had so many evenings where we’ve gotten married, we’ve spent so many Diwalis with just a really close group of friends. So (this time) we’re going to be doing exactly that this year. I’m cranking it up a notch. This year I’m going all out, because it’s our last Diwali at home,” she added.
