Kriti Sanon has officially wrapped up the Sicily schedule of her upcoming film Cocktail 2, sharing her excitement with fans on social media. Alongside candid behind-the-scenes snapshots featuring the film’s cast and crew, Kriti expressed her gratitude and joy at completing this picturesque segment of the shoot.
In her Instagram post, she wrote, “Ciao my Bellas. And just like that we’ve wrapped #TheSicilianChapter of #Cocktail2. Sunshine, rain and ending with a beautiful Rainbow.”
The photos also featured the film’s director, Homi Adajania, highlighting the fun and camaraderie shared by the team during their shoot in Italy. They offered glimpses of the wrap party, capturing celebratory moments against the scenic Sicilian backdrop. Kriti Sanon was seen posing with the crew and enjoying a dessert, and she also shared a few snapshots of the picturesque locations.
Cocktail 2: A Sequel to the 2012 Romance Hit
Cocktail 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2012 romantic drama Cocktail, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty. The original film, directed by Homi Adajania and written by Imtiaz Ali, explored a complex love triangle between a man and two best friends with contrasting personalities.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner Maddock Films, the sequel is scripted by Luv Ranjan, promising a fresh take on romance, friendship and emotional dilemmas in line with the legacy of the original.
New Collaborations and Exciting Cast Updates
The film marks Rashmika Mandanna’s first collaboration with Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor, adding a new dynamic to the ensemble. Kriti and Shahid were last seen together in the 2024 romantic drama Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, making this project a highly anticipated reunion. While the storyline and release date are yet to be revealed, fans are eagerly awaiting further updates on the sequel.
Kriti Sanon’s Upcoming Projects
Kriti Sanon is also gearing up for the release of Tere Ishq Mein, a spin-off of the 2013 romantic drama Raanjhanaa, directed by Aanand L Rai. Co-starring Dhanush, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on November 28, in both Hindi and Tamil, adding another promising project to Kriti’s growing portfolio.
