Actor-turned-politician Vijay has recently concluded his acting career in the film ‘Jananayakan,’ directed by H. Vinoth. Meanwhile, Vijay, who has founded the Tamil Nadu Vetrikazhagam Party, is conducting intensive tours every Saturday in preparation for the 2026 elections.
During the first week, Vijay campaigned in Trichy and Ariyalur. In the second week, he continued his campaign in Thiruvarur and Nagapattinam, followed by stops in Namakkal and Karur.
For this campaign, Vijay travelled from Chennai in a small private jet.
Previously, Vijay also travelled in a private plane to participate in the shooting in Kodaikanal on May 1.
Furthermore, Vijay travelled in a brown and white private plane when going to Trichy during the first week, and in a blue and white private plane when going to Tiruvarur and Namakkal.
Over the past two weeks, Vijay has been travelling in a private plane named VT-PCR – Gulfstream G200, valued at up to Rs 8 crore. Renting this jet for a day costs a hefty sum.
Reports indicate that the private plane used by Vijay costs up to Rs. 14 lakhs per day. The owner of this plane is not available.
However, the plane is based in Hyderabad. The FlightAware website has published information that this plane has flown from Hyderabad to Chennai before each of Vijay’s campaigns..
Additionally, the website states that the plane took about 38 minutes to fly from Chennai to Trichy.
