Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Janhvi Kapoor. The film, however, is set to clash at the box office with Rishab Shetty’s magnum opus Kantara Chapter 1. Recently, during an AMA session, Varun Dhawan was asked about the same and his answer won everyone’s heart.

Ahead of the film release, Varun Dhawan did AMA session in which a fan asked him, “@Varun_dvn Kantara se darr nhi lagra ? #varunsays”. On this the actor replied, “Release date toh production wale set karte hain. Par hum buss apni film pe mehnant  kar rahe hain aur logo ko Hassane ki koshish. I wish Oct 2nd everyone is laughing and smiling and celebrating #varunsays.” Immediately fans also reacted and dropped laughing emojis.

Tu Hai Meri Song out:

Earlier in the day, song Tu Hai Meri was released. It shows Varun realising his love for Janhvi Kapoor. Rohit Saraf, who is ex of Janhvi, is getting jealous. It is a beautiful track. Fans loved it and send their love for the actors. Till now this third song from the album. The film is releasing on October 2.  Varun Dhawan shared a video in which Janhvi Kapoor is seen sleeping while the makeup artist is doing her makeup. All About Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari follows Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s characters, Sunny and Tulsi, as they attempt to win back their former partners, played by Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf. The situation sets the stage for a playful journey in which Sunny and Tulsi will team up and pretend to be a couple to make their exes jealous. The film also stars Maniesh Paul and Akshay Oberoi in supporting roles. It will hit the theatres on October 2, 2025.

Varun Dhawan Drops Hilarious BTS Video Of Janhvi Kapoor

Taking to his Instagram handle, Varun Dhawan shared a video in which Janhvi Kapoor is seen sleeping while the makeup artist is doing her makeup. The Perfect song is being played in the background. “Mere Tulsi Perfect Hain’ reads the caption. In no time, it went viral and fans were seen reacting. One of the fans wrote, “sote hue makeup.” Another wrote, “Janhvi and varun perfect but why guru interfare bitween both.”

Varun Dhawan’s Upcoming Projects

Alongside Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Varun has Border 2 in the pipeline. He will star alongside Diljit Dosanjh, Sunny Deol, and Ahan Shetty in the film, which is expected to release in 2026.
