Deepika Padukone confirms Kalki 2898 AD sequel exit, shares news of King with Shah Rukh Khan. Salman Khan pauses Battle of Galwan shoot due to physical injury.
Deepika Padukone has finally addressed her exit from the Kalki 2898 AD sequel and shared exciting news about reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan for King. Posting a picture showing their hands clasped together, she wrote, “The very first lesson he taught me almost 18 years ago while filming Om Shanti Om was that the experience of making a movie, and the people you make it with, matter far more than its success. I couldn’t agree more and have applied that learning to every decision I’ve made since. And that’s probably why we’re back making our 6th movie together?”
Salman Khan returned to Mumbai a few days back after wrapping his Ladakh schedule for his upcoming action drama Battle of Galwan. Now, a news update suggests that Salman will kick-start the second schedule of the film next week. The second schedule is set to take place in Mumbai, and it is going to be one of the most important schedules, considering the directors are planning to shoot not only action scenes but also emotional scenes.

Assamese music legend Zubeen Garg tragically passed away on September 19, 2025, in a scuba diving accident in Singapore. Singapore police rescued him from the sea and rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was admitted to the ICU. Despite doctors’ best efforts, Garg could not be saved. He was 52 years old. He had travelled to Singapore to perform at the North East Festival, where he was set to take the stage on September 20.
