Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently turned heads with a visit to Baba Ramdev’s ashram in Haridwar for her cooking vlog. The meeting, filled with humour, warmth, and playful Bollywood references, showcased a lighter side of the yoga guru rarely seen on camera.
Why Farah Khan Thinks Baba Ramdev Is Like Salman Khan
During the ashram tour, Baba Ramdev personally showed Farah around the sprawling grounds, which include meditation centres, scenic cottages, and serene spaces designed for relaxation and spiritual growth. When he explained, “Humne logo ke rehne ke liye bana rakhe hai mahal, aur apne liye jhopdi. (We’ve built palaces for people to stay in, and a hut for ourselves),” Farah could not resist making a playful comparison.
“To aap aur Salman Khan ek hi ho. Vo bhi 1BHK me rehta hai aur banayein hai mahal sab ke liye (So you and Salman Khan are the same. He also lives in a 1BHK and has built palaces for everyone else),” she quipped. Baba Ramdev laughed heartily, agreeing, “Haan, ye baat to sahi hai. (Yes, it is correct),” highlighting the charming rapport between them.
The light-hearted banter continued, with Farah complimenting Baba Ramdev on his youthful energy and striking appearance. She even joked about him joining Bollywood, prompting him to play along with a humorous response: “To aap aur Salman Khan ek hi gaye. Vo bhi 1BHK me rehta hai aur banayein hai mahal sab ke liye (Oh, God, I’ve left an entire empire for you to rule).” The exchange offered fans a rare glimpse of the yoga guru’s approachable and playful personality.
