Akshay Kumar’s son Aarav turned a year older today, and the actor shared the sweetest birthday wish for his “little hero,” along with a heartfelt note reflecting on how quickly Aarav has grown up. Akshay Kumar also posted a warm selfie with his son while penning the note.

Kumar’s birthday post for Aarav captured his reflections on parenthood. “Happy 23rd, Aarav! When I was twenty-three, I was learning to beat up people on screen. It’s a strange feeling now to see you beat me every day—right from tech to fashion to arguments at the dinner table. Dekhte hi dekhte itna bada ho gaya hai yaar tu. You make me feel like a proud sidekick in my own story. Love you, beta. Cheers to the best 23 years of my life because they’ve been with you,” Akshay wrote.
Aarav’s cousin, Naomika Saran—granddaughter of the legendary Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia—also shared a sweet wish for him, though she later pulled it down.
“Happy happy birthday to my favourite person. Here’s to going through every phase of life together—I love you the most, bhaiyu. Twinem for life x,” Naomika wrote while posting a series of three pictures with her cousin Aarav.

Aarav Bhatia is currently studying fashion design in London, pursuing a career quite different from the acting legacies of his maternal grandfather, Rajesh Khanna, maternal grandmother Dimple Kapadia, father Akshay Kumar, and mother Twinkle Khanna.
He left home at the age of 15 and now lives independently in London, managing all his household chores. Akshay revealed that Aarav cooks his own food and regularly washes the dishes. Instead of buying branded clothes, he often shops at London’s street markets and prefers second-hand garments.
Aarav’s education journey began at École Mondiale World School in Mumbai, continued with graduation from United World College in Singapore, and is now focused on fashion design studies in London.
Akshay has previously stated that Aarav has no interest in pursuing a Bollywood career, instead planning to carve his path in the fashion industry. Aarav has long shown an interest in martial arts and creative pursuits, but remains firm in his decision not to follow the family’s footsteps into films.
