Shahid Kapoor shared a selfie on Instagram announcing the start of Cocktail 2 shoot with Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, raising excitement for the much-awaited sequel.

Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna’s Cocktail 2 is one of the most anticipated movies currently, and now the actor has hinted towards the beginning of the movie’s shoot. Shahid took to his Instagram and shared a selfie of himself and wrote, “New Beginnings!!! Cocktail 2.” The actor also tagged Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon in the picture, revealing that he is joined by his leading ladies on the shoot of the much-anticipated drama. In the picture, Shahid was looking handsome in a minimal beard look and a smart hairstyle.
Rashmika, while posting a pic of herself and giving a peek into her look, wrote, “gand where you at,” and tagged Shahid and Kriti in the pic.
The sequel is backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and written by Luv Ranjan. While details about the plot are being kept under wraps, the makers are aiming for a theatrical release in the second half of 2026. Earlier, Homi’s wife, Anaita Shroff Adajania, added to the buzz by sharing a glimpse of the Cocktail 2 script on her Instagram Story. She also shared Kriti Sanon’s look from the film. It will not be wrong to say that the new look is raising the excitement level. Rashmika Mandanna and Shahid Kapoor have also shared their respective looks.

She is also rumoured to have signed Don 3 opposite Ranveer Singh. Shahid Kapoor is currently filming a period drama directed by Arjun Ustara, also starring Triptii Dimri and Randeep Hooda. Rashmika Mandanna, who was last seen in Kuberaa, has multiple upcoming projects, including Mysaa, The Girlfriend, Thama and Animal Park.
