Ranbir Kapoor recalled running into the actress as she was crying on the phone.

Ranbir Kapoor will soon be seen in Ramayana.
Ranbir Kapoor is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in Bollywood. Fans swoon over him and wait for a chance to get a picture with him. However, overseas, tables turn when Ranbir Kapoor spots a Hollywood star who has no idea of the Ramayana actor’s popularity in India. Ranbir once made an appearance on Kapil Sharma’s show and recalled how he ran after Quentin Tarantino and Natalie Portman for pictures.
Ranbir recalled, “I was running on a New York street, I needed to use the loo, when I saw Natalie Portman crossing me. She was on a call, and I was like, ‘Oh, that’s Natalie Portman!’ I turned around and ran after her, saying ‘One photo, one photo,’ but I didn’t realise she was crying while talking on the phone.”
The actor said, “She looked at me and said, ‘Get lost!’ and walked away. My heart broke so badly. But it’s not like I became any less of a fan. Even today, if I saw her somewhere, I’d be like, ‘Please, one photo!’”
Ranbir Kapoor recalled another anecdote involving Natalie Portman and said, “We were shooting, and he (Tarantino) was somewhere nearby giving an interview. I found out he was around for a film promotion, so I ran to see him. I really wanted a picture. He’s made incredible films like Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction. He came out and was getting into a car.”
He added, “From a distance, I started yelling, ‘Tarantino! Tarantino!’ He looked at me and said, ‘Yeah, yeah,’ and sat in the car. When he was inside, I peeped in and kept saying ‘One photo, one photo,’ but he didn’t even look at me.” Ranbir said this happens to him more often than one might think.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is currently working on one of his biggest and most-awaited projects, Ramayana. It is no secret that the actor will be essaying the role of Lord Ram in the Nitesh Tiwari directorial. Sai Pallavi will be seen essaying the role of Sita.
