Aditya Narayan discusses nepotism on Rise and Fall.

On the reality show Rise and Fall, a candid moment between Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh and singer-host Aditya Narayan caught everyone’s attention. Pawan, while speaking to Aditya, raised an important point: “Jab aapke father being a superstar, to iske bhi kuchh problems hai, pressure hai.”

To this, Aditya responded with honesty and argued that even nepotism has certain levels and does not apply to everyone. “Dekhiye ye nepotism nepotism sabke saath nahi chalta hai. Uske bhi levels hote hai. Humne bhi apni mehnat ki hai. Kar rahe hai. Karenge. Humara pehla gaana jo phata tha, ‘Ram Ji Ki Chaal Dekho’ from Ram Leela, wo bohot chala tha. Aur abhi to aisa lagta hai ki shuru hua hai,” he said.

A Look At Aditya Narayan’s Career

Currently seen in Rise and Fall, Aditya Narayan is known for his work as a singer, music composer, television host and actor. Born on August 6, 1987, in Mumbai, he is the son of the renowned playback singer Udit Narayan. Aditya began singing at age four and went on to perform in over 100 songs as a child artist. He is also known for hosting shows like “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa”. The singer-host also participated in Rohit Shetty’s “Khatron Ke Khiladi 9,” where he finished as runner-up.

During the show’s premiere, Aditya talked about participating in Rise and Fall when he said, “I’ve spent my life entertaining people on screen and on stage — but Rise and Fall is a completely different ballgame. Here, there are no scripts, no rehearsals, just raw reality. Stepping into this world of luxury in a suit feels great, but I know tables can turn any second. I’m here to enjoy, compete, and maybe surprise a few people along the way.”

What is Rise & Fall about?

Hosted by Ashneer Grover, marking his hosting debut on national television, Rise & Fall challenges 15 celebrity contestants to navigate between two extremes: the lavish penthouse of the Rulers and the bare-basics basement of the Workers. In this game, power shifts constantly, alliances are fragile, and nothing stays the same for long. The show’s tagline says it all: “16 contestants. Two worlds. One ultimate power struggle.”
