Akshay Kumar birthday: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar turned a year older today and marked the occasion with an emotional message for his fans. Taking to social media, the actor reflected on his nearly six-decade journey, including 34 years in the film industry and over 150 films to his name.
“58 years in the making, 34 years in this industry, over 150 films & counting. To everyone that ever believed in me, who bought a ticket, who signed me, produced me, directed me and guided me, this is your journey as much as mine,” Akshay wrote.
He went on to dedicate his birthday to those who have stood by him through the years. “I’m just here to say an eternal ‘Thank You’ for every kind action, unconditional support, and words of encouragement. I am nothing without you, my Birthday is a dedication to all those that still believe me. Love & Prayers, Your Akshay. Jai Mahakal,” the actor added.

Akshay also thanked artist Rahul Nanda for curating his life’s journey into a special tribute for his fans.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar was seen at Mumbai’s Juhu Beach on Sunday morning, September 7, taking part in a beach cleanup drive organised a day after Ganpati Visarjan. Joining him in the initiative were Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, and BMC Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani. Videos widely shared on social media captured Akshay Kumar actively picking up waste left behind after the immersion and placing it in bags alongside other volunteers. Amruta Fadnavis and several citizens also participated in the drive.
The star, who continues to remain one of Bollywood’s most bankable names, has multiple projects lined up ahead and shows no signs of slowing down. With Jolly LLB 3 hitting cinemas this September alongside Arshad Warsi, he is also set to reunite with Priyadarshan for the quirky horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, slated for April 2026 — plus the buzz is real around his upcoming Priyadarshan-thriller Haiwaan, co-starring Saif Ali Khan, which has just begun filming. He also has Hera Pheri 3 in the pipeline.
