Anusha Opens Up About Public Relationships
Anusha acknowledged the challenges of having personal matters scrutinised on social media. When asked about how online chatter affects her, she said, “It is pretty easy when you are relieved. It is easy when you don’t want to have it and you get saved.”
She also shed light on the blurred lines between media intrusion and personal accountability. “I am not going to blame only the media. We are accountable; we made it public. You are on your Instagram, showing it off, and it is public. You made a decision to make it public. You have to have a balance of privacy and publicity. But you have to take the hits when it is not working out,” Anusha explained.
Reflecting on Past Breakups
Without naming anyone directly, Anusha appeared to reference her past relationship with actor Karan Kundrra, which lasted for 3-5 years and ended around late 2020 or early 2021. She reflected on co-hosting MTV Love School together and how openly their breakup was discussed online.
Anusha’s perspective is grounded in respect for her audience. She emphasized the mutual trust built with fans who have followed her journey: “I made a decision to go to my public space and tell them about my breakup. Because if they have shared the journey with me, I believe it is respectable to let them know this has happened. You can’t suddenly say why are they in my business? I made them do so.”
