The 2025 edition of the Asia Cup will be played from September 9 to 28. A total of eight teams, which are divided into two groups of four each, will feature in this year’s tournament. Keeping the T20 World Cup 2026 in mind, the matches of this year’s Asia Cup will be played in T20I format. Two venues in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will host 19 matches.
World No. 1 T20I team India, under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav, will start as favourites for the title once again, but the likes of Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan can’t be ignored as well. In addition to them, the United Arab Emirates team would also like to come up with a big show this time around and qualify for the Super Fours at least.
