She has been a fashion favourite for decade,s and just when you think she can’t get any better, she surprises you all over again. Her latest Instagram post is proof that even at the age of 51, she is charismatic, confident and full of glam.
In the post, Urmila shared a montage of stunning pictures and videos from her latest photoshoot, and fans can’t get enough. She gave a modern twist to a classic silhouette, rocking a navy-blue mini skirt with a striped shirt that featured bold horizontal lines. The knee-high white socks and studded heels completed her look, giving chic, confident and oh-so-Urmila vibes.
Her caption? She wrote, “Saturday wali batein. Have a super weekend, beautiful people.” The comments section quickly lit up with compliments, with fans praising her timeless beauty. Some even asked for her big screen writing, “We will have super weekend if we get to see u on the screen.” Another added, “Slaying it.” An individual posted a sweet comment that read, “always favourite.”
Urmila Matondkar’s Career So Far
On the work front, Urmila Matondkar made her debut as a child artist in the 1977 film Karm. Later, she carved a niche for herself in several Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi and Tamil films. In her career spanning almost five decades, she has received numerous Filmfare Awards and the Nandi Awards
As for her last project, she appeared as a judge on the 2022 dance reality television series DID Super Moms. The reality show premiered on Zee TV and was hosted by Jay Bhanushali. Alongside her were Remo D’Souza and Bhagyashree who joined the star as a co-judge.
On the film front, Urmila was last seen in a special appearance in the song Bewafa Beauty in the Hindi film Blackmail. It was released in 2018.
Urmila Matondkar’s Personal Life
Moving on to her personal life, Urmila was married to a Kashmiri businessman and model, Mohsin Akhtar Mir for eight years. The duo, who had tied the knot in 2016, reportedly filed for divorce last year and the reason for the separation is yet to be confirmed.
